Frank Nudo is a qualified actuary who brings extensive experience in economic damages quantification in personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice claims. He specializes in the quantification of defined benefit pension losses, dependency income losses, disputed long-term disability claims, assessment of reduced life expectancy, and valuation of future costs of care. He regularly critiques both plaintiff and defence experts’ damage quantification reports, in particular to matters requiring actuarial knowledge and expertise. Frank has prepared and delivered seminars related to loss quantification methodologies in wrongful death matters and pension loss considerations in personal injury and wrongful dismissal claims. He has also provided assistance to counsel at mediations and pre-trial conferences.
Prior to co-founding Seaquist + Partners, Frank was a consulting actuary at one of Canada’s leading litigation and valuation firms. He has provided litigation support services since 2004, preparing expert damages quantification reports for clients in Ontario and across Canada.
Frank graduated with distinction from the University of Toronto, completing an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with a Specialist in Actuarial Science. In addition, he is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA).
